The North Kawartha Knights Hire Mark Savery as General Manager!

The North Kawartha Knights are pleased to announce that Mark Savery will be joining our team as General Manager.

 

Mark has been involved in hockey as both a coach and manager for over 30 years. He began his Jr Coaching Career with the Stouffville Spirit of the OJHL in 2009 and in 2012 was part of their Buckland Cup Winning Staff. He then moved into the management side of the game with the Uxbridge Bruins of the PJHL and built a Cougar cup winning team in the 2018/2019 season . During the same period Mark became the Asst. GM for the Whitby Fury of the OJHL. Savery was then enticed to take on a complete rebuild with the Elliot Lake Red Wings of the NOJHL . Starting with no returning players he was able to build a playoff bound team in its first year. We are excited to have Mark as part of our team and look forward to him bringing his experience and drive to win to the Knights.

 

We thank Caleb Trotter for all his hard work and dedication to the role for the last season and a half, and are glad to announce that he is staying in a scouting/recruiting capacity.
